Good morning guys! I went to a local photo shop to look for a great digital camera which I would like to purchase for an upcoming trip. I was rooting for the Canon SD1100 at the time. However, this sales guy told me that I could buy the Canon SD890 which was worth more than $100 than my preferred camera. He told me that they have a current promotion wherein I can get the Canon SD890 camera at the same price with the SD110. Should I go for this offer? I told the guy I'll be back within the week (the promo still applies).

Hi tennisguru! I've been searching on the specs of the two digital cameras and I can see that Canon SD890 has extra zoom and other features as well.
Check out these reviews for both cameras and see if it can help you decide and I hope you will. Cheers!
