Default Nikon P80 test shots

I got a Nikon P80 from Amazon today. My first test shots are here:

On default settings I noted some blown out highlights (that could be corrected in Photoshop, and my Olympus DSLR does the same thing) and a significant pick up in noise on low light close-up images. I am satisfied with how the macro works, which was one of my main reasons for buying the camera. At mid range the photographs I got were very clear- I could have counted every hair on my dog's body.

I would have liked it if they would have included RAW, and if it were possible to thread filters on the camera, which it is not.
