Hi guys!
It's now my turn to ask for advice. I've been browsing the net for cool, yet reasonably priced digital cameras. I've come across two models with only one brand. That's the Panasonic Lumix TZ4 and Lumix TZ5. I can see that there's a price difference of about $50 between the two with the latter being the most expensive, maybe just because it's the newer one. Do you think it's worth the extra $50 if I buy the TZ5 or just stick with TZ4 which basically have the same features? Thanks! |

Hi Einstein!
The major difference that I can observe among these two digital cameras is the megapixel capacity with TZ4 having 8.1MP and TZ5 having 9.1MP. Both cameras have 28mm wide-ange 10x optical zoom lens which is a great feature! However, the new TZ5 camera has the capacity to integrate recording capabilities for high-definition pictures so basically you can view your pictures on a large screen high-definition television which is impressive! If you find that the differences mentioned are worth the $50 difference, then I would advice you to go for the TZ5 camera! There's a review that might help you further! Here are links that provide detailed reviews of each of the cameras: Panasonic TZ5 review Panasonic Lumix TZ4 I'll probably go for the TZ5 camera considering it is the latest model and I like the HDTV feature. Keep us updated as to what camera you chose to buy! |
