Default MS XP Pro OEM activation error

Recently bought a new desktop computer. Unfortunately, the MS XP OEM licensed was installed in the old PC. Ergo, I couldn't activate my MS XP in the newly upgraded machine.

Now my question is --- are there other ways for me to use the MS XP? I seriously don't want to buy a new one.

Help?

This means that your XP license, which was initially stored in your old PC, is an OEM, right? Unfortunately, that license lives and dies with your old machine, sorry. You can't transfer that to your new desktop computer, no matter how spanking brand new it is. Gotta buy a new XP license
