Default liquid cooling questions

how often should you clean a water/liquid cooling parts?
tubes, reservoir, generator & all that good stuff...

how often should i replace fluid?

what's the best fluid to use?

Most recommend every 3-6 months depending on what your using as the coolant..

if it's just water I'd replace it at the same time as cleaning, but if it's a fluid of some sort it could last much longer

the best fluid is debatable.. there are many out there to choose from, best thing to do hop around and check for reviews of fluids to see which might work the best for you and your setup..

what type of fluid you'll use depends also on you cash supply, I've got fluid that costs $300 per gallon.. It's 3m HFE fluid, but it's totally non-conductive..

people have often debated what the best fluid is, and everyone thinks the one they use is.. people with different setups have had different experiences with the same fluid..

most recommended fluids are from:

Swiftech HydrX
Koolance

with FLuidXp and PrimoChill listed in there as well... but with varied results
