A few days ago I was surfing the net with my desktop pc when the internet went off and says “acquiring network address” and seems I cannot connect in the internet anymore. We have 3 desktop pcs connect through networking and router. But, only one works fine. The remaining 2 pcs still cannot connect. The same line, “acquiring network address”, shows up in the 2 monitors. What can I do to solve this problem?

I suggest that you call first your internet provider that your internet is down. They provide call assistance service to subscribers. I have also experienced the same situation you were in. Mostly, they’d say to shut down your pc first. Unplug your router and hub (if you have one). Wait for about 5-10 minutes before you turn back on your pc and plug all connections (router/hub). Sometimes, the internet provider’s website pops up and require your login details. Affix your login details. Wait for a couple of minutes and the network connection will be established within your 3 pcs. Generally, the networking is all automatic since you have a router. I hope this helps.
