Default File transfer on 2nd hard drive with the same desktop pc

I recently installed another large hard drive on my desktop running on XP. The main hard drive is slowly near full. I’m planning to transfer large volume of files to another hard drive. How do I do this without affecting operating system files and applications from original hard drive?

Default

Most likely, large files are commonly stored in “My Documents” folder. If you have noticed, you have different sub-folders stored there especially when you make it as default for saving files and documents. It would be easy if you arrange and store all your user files accordingly (make sub-folders), and then in one folder. This way, it also acts as your back-up files.

To transfer, click on “My Documents” > Properties > Target Tab > Move > Select. Select the path of your new hard drive installed.
