I badly need your advice or comments on this. On my pc, I get error messages when I tried to view/open my optical drives. Some of the error messages display like this, “The device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device (Code 31)”, second, “A driver for this device was not required, and has been disabled (Code 32 or Code 31)”, third, “Your registry might be corrupted (Code 19). How do I fix this? Any ideas and recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sometimes, when you remove a CD or DVD recording program or any program for that matter, those errors display. What you need is to delete your registry entries, UpperFilters registry entry and LowerFilters registry entry. Check this link for proper solution to your problem. Don’t worry, there is a solution to this kind of problem. Just keep in mind to follow the instructions properly. Otherwise, more serious problems will occur.
