Categories on Testfreaks?

Hi everyone, we need your help to determine what categories to start working with.

At the moment we have

Here are the categories that we are planning on using. These will later be structured into top categories, but for now here they are. Which ones are of interest to you? And which categories have a lot of reviews posted out on the internet?

I have seen a lot of laptop/notebook reviews out there in all kinds of languages. The second most would be MP3-players if you ask me, there are alot of those out there too.

(Notebooks are mentioned twice in your list btw)

I think game consoles are hard to review. We don't get many new there

I would be very interested in PDA and cell phone reviews. Its always exciting too see how those two seem to interact. Eventually it will be one category.

Could you give me some links to good pages with notebook reviews? We are currently adding a lot of MP3 player brands and hopefully we'll have some really good reviews for them

About the PDA/Cell phone part I think we'll start focusing on Cell phones, and add the PDA in the same category. Later they will be split up to two diffrent subcategories.

I really want you to make the projector and home theater category since I'm going to buy that this summer. Can you recommend me any good HD-projectors?

It would really help if you could make a guide about home cinema at your site.

thank you Dennis, I have added them to my list. The list of review sites are getting bigger and bigger. I hope we can get as many as possible up by the time we launch.

I like reading laptop reviews on all the latest lines from Dell, HP, IBM etc.. But a new thing (Which i would appreciate) is having to read reviews about specific hardware like graphic cards (From hi end to low end graphics), motherboards (latest from power motherboards to budget motherboards), hard drives etc and their compatibilities & issues..

Another interest (IMHO) would be routers because of the new upcoming N spec coming to the new final stage. Plus some networking gadgets like Neargear's powerline and those home plugs which i use and really appreciate..

p.s. Desktops would be great too i like testing different desktops on different operating systems.. I love looking for themes and new looks for my laptops

I requested an invite for beta testing from a pownce friend, i hope she could provide me with one so i can join in the freaks testing party :P

with all these laptops surfacing these days (the rough laptops, the mac air, the one laptop per child, the asus eee etc etc) i think it'll be a great thing if we have a specific category just for these

Gatekeeper, they are still only present here in the forum. It will be another few weeks before you can find them on the regular site. Today we run 16 categories but we are accelerating the launching of new categories.
