I stick to Sony Ericsson now but from my experience (this is just an opinion)

Sony Ericsson - Best for Functionality
+ Easy to use Software with plenty of variation and customization
+ Usually very good Camera (particularly those with Cybershot technology) + and large quality screen
+ Very good for Music
- Invariably Short Battery Time
- Handsets can develop Hardware Faults
- Not much style

Samsung - Best for Style
+ Usually the most stylish
+ Good Cameras but the screens are normally too small to view pics properly
+ Great for basic functions
+ Pretty reliable handsets
- Software far from user friendly or helpful
- Limited range of functionality

Nokia - Best for reliability and average overall usage
+ Robust & reliable
+ Easy to use software
+ Good Internet / wireless technology
- Bulky, not stylish handsets
- Jack of all trades, master on none
