Hi Grexia, what is the brand and model of your digital camera? There are some digital cameras sold today that have bluetooth and/or infrared capabilities. If your camera falls under that type, then half of your problem's solved. The only thing left is to know if your computer and/or notebook has infrared and/or bluetooth capabilities. I(f you have a bluetooth dongle, you're in luck!)
Another way is for you to use a card reader. Insert your camera's memory card in a card reader (most notebooks have this added feature already) and presto! The computer will immediately detect that.
Otherwise, you really need to buy a USB cable for you to download those precious photos.
