sifting from EOS Rebel XTi to EOS Rebel XSi

Pls suggest me whether it will be wisher decision to shift from EOS Rebel XTi to EOS Rebel XSi?
As I'm considering only Live View function added to EOS XSi.. for shifting to this camera only..
And I want to know will this Live view function work same as View Finder for moving objects ?
