Does anyone here get the new samsung t629?

I bought the special t629 usb cable with the Samsung PC Studio software 3.0 to upload music files from my computer. I can't get the computer to connect to the t629. Has anyone been able to make this work this way? On the samsung support site it states you need to load the sd micro disk through a card reader hooked up to the pc. Also, I have a Mac, so can the t629 play aac files?
