Summary: Needed a processor, but don't have too much space in the kitchen, plus wanted something reasonably priced. This is just a perfect tiny processor - speedy, efficient, easy to clean, small enough to store in a cupboard. It comes with a lid as well, which is quite useful.
Summary: Bought this on my mum's recommendation, as usual she was spot on. Great bit of kit. Used it most recently for the mushroom pate for beef wellington and as usual got the perfect consistancy I was trying to achieve. Not the easiest thing in the world to extract all the chopped ingredients from, but a small spoon usually suffices. Alternatively, a litle water and a swirl does the job. Takes away all the effort of hand chopping to fine, should have got one years ago.
Summary: Bought this in October, as one reviewer said she used it to puree her baby's food, and I wanted it for my cat, as she has few teeth. However the reviewer did say that the cutters did not go to the bottom of the bowl and did not puree as well as it should. However, unfortunately, I took the risk as the make was Russell Hobbs. I immediately went to the Russell Hobbs site to register the product, and gave up, as it included a survey which were pages and pages long.
Summary: I purchase this chopper to chop onions, garlic etc. After 2 months it has stopped working. Blades wizz round but to high up to chop the food. Spring inside blades broken? Hope Amazon will offer refund.
Summary: This chopper have a good glass bowl, but anything else are made not to last. My Food chopper stop work after 9-10 times use. The product is build by the material we normally used for toys. Before this I bought a Russell Hobbs microwave. It was only last 12 month and 10 days. The warranty do not cover.
Summary: This appliance is not fit for purpose. It does chop onions but anything with any body to it, it has neither the power or the tool action to be effective. As a user of several Russell Hobbs appliances I implore you not to buy it. They are underpowered and have weak, brittle plastic connections between spindles and tools. I'm not saying that others are any better as I've had the same problem with Kenwood appliances too.
