Summary: My wife had one of these for over 20 years and when it broke she wanted to replace it. The blender works great but when she makes her own salsa it shoots out of blender. This blender is not deep enough to hold more than a half cup of liquid but great for solid food.
Summary: Just got this machine this week and have been so happy with it so far I wanted to get on and do a review. I haven't used all the features yet. I am glad I got the 9 cup instead of a 7 cup machine. I previously had a 3 cup cuisinart and needed something bigger and better. What a difference! Yes, it is big, but I knew that and made counter space for it. It is quiet (much quieter than that cuisinart I had) and does a great job very fast.
Summary: I bought this as a gift for my husband who does most of the cooking and all of the canning in our house. He loves it. The size is perfect for large batches of canning. A real time saver! I hit a homerun giving him this for Christmas!
Summary: Hello, I really liked the food processor but I really wanted the 13 cup one as it had the select the thickness lever. I really wanted that and I recieved this as a gift and I think I am going to exchange it for the 13 Cup Processor.
Summary: This was the best purchase I have made in a long time! In about an hour I made three things last night: 1) a flour-free bread that requires ground cashews and fruit puree, 2) cabbage salad, 3) carrot salad. I did this all with the KitchenAid 9-cup Food Processor. I like the slicing attachment where you can change the thickness of the slice. The shredding attachment also has a fine and medium shred which is nice.
Summary: Thought I would love this since it is Kitchen Aid. When you hand wash water gets caught in the lid. At first I didn't think it was a big deal...the next time I got it out it smelled like mildew. Not impressed with this Kitchen Aid product.
Summary: I've had another KitchenAid Food Processor, so when it was time to get a new one I figured I would give this one a try. The biggest selling point was that it had a smaller bowl that you could use for when you aren't dealing with giant portions. When it finally showed up, I was very much disappointed in the product. The machine itself is huge. There's no getting around that. It's a 9-cup bowl, with an equally large base.
