Excellent choice

Piston Pete, Woolworths
19 January 2014
  • Summary: My girlfriends very old Magi mix finally gave in and she was going to get another. I'd had a Kenwood in the past and was impressed, so I got her a Kenwood Chef and knowing she needed to grate a lot of vegetables, I got this grater attachment too. I hadn't realised it was the Pro version. It definitely lives up to the pro part of its name though. We've found it to grate very quickly indeed and it grates cleanly. Slight downsides are.

Not quite sure yet.....

Elisbetta, Woolworths
28 December 2013
  • Summary: I got this a few days ago so not use to it yet. It seems to be good, I've grated cheese, made coleslaw and sliced apples. It seems to do exactly what you would expect. Only gripe at the moment is the amount of blades and where you store them all! It is of the usual high quality that you would expect of Kenwood. I think it will be a really good accessory once I've worked out which blades to use.
  • Pros: Results of chopping are good once you have managed to assemble,, Buyer beware!! Not easy to use.

Disappointed

Evelyn, Woolworths
25 April 2013
  • Summary: I am very disappointed with this purchase. I bought it because I don't have a lot of strength in my wrists for chopping vegetables and I thought the attachment would help. BUT IT DOESN'T. I am unable to undo the lid, I called in a neighbour and after a lot of time, he managed to undo the lid but when he replaced it to test it again, he could'nt undo it !! I also found the arrow to line up with the locks very difficult to see.

FOOD IS GREAT, FOOD IS VERY NICELY PRESENTED AND MOST IMPORTANT, USE IT WITH SALADS OR MY SLOW COOKER, ITS BRILLIANT I KNOW WHATS IN IT. DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND. [...

A great time saver!

yumarama, Woolworths
4 April 2013
  • Summary: This product is called a pro slicer for a reason! The things you slice come out looking professionally finished which means they can be presented beautifully. Cheese is grated in bulk in an instant, carrots in seconds! It really is a versatile attachment for the Kenwood kitchen machine. It is also very easy to use and change the blades for different jobs. Sometimes I find it a little tricky to line the lid on the top bit that is probably inexperience.

Great Addition to the Chef

Lucie, Woolworths
5 December 2012
  • Summary: The product is really great and as expected. It is incredibly powerful and gets through chopping and grating in super fast time. The only downside (and it isn't something which would prevent me buying it again with hindsight) is that not all of the produce being chopped/grated goes into the bowl....a lot remains in the chamber where the plates are held in place so you have to empty it.
