Summary: After wanting one of these food processors for months, I finally took the plunge! It does the job, and processes food very finely. However, with only two people in our house we don't need something a big as this one. I found that it was quite hard to make up small batches of pesto in this large of a processor. I also think the pulses last a little too long. I find that I don't use this too often to help with food prep.
Summary: Honestly this is my favorite food processor ever and if they ever stop making it, I will be upset. This is my second one. The first one, I was an idiot and stuck a rubber spatula in while it was running. Yea, smart girl right? Broke the machine and ordered another one. Easy to clean One touch Simple, even for absent minded, busy moms like me!
Summary: I have put this Hamilton Beach 10 Cup food processor to good use. While it does do a good job on some things it's useless on others. Shredding and slicing of fruits and veggies work great but doing any kind of dough it's not very good. It doesn't do nuts or seeds, at all, they just swirl around. I've gone back to using my blender for the seeds and beans. It is a good food processor but just doesn't do all it should/could do. I'd recommend it to others.
I will say that it does chops items smaller on average than I would like, but that's just a matter of preference

Summary: What can I say, it does what it is intended to do. Saves me a bunch of time by letting me forgo the endless chopping by a simple flip of a switch. I will say that it does chops items smaller on average than I would like, but that's just a matter of preference. It's dishwasher safe and easy to use. I typically cook for 4 people and the size of this processor is more than enough to prepare the necessary ingredients for any average meal.
Summary: I have used this almost daily to shred partially cooked potatoes. It really does the job but is a pain to clean up, although it is easy. I haven't tried chopping anything but suspect it would be very useful for larger quantities. I inadvertantly used the slicer function once and it did the job nicely on my potatoes. Just be careful about which function you use, although it is clearly marked. Really good, useful appliance that I would buy again. I highly recommend it.
Summary: I have had this for four months and use it almost everyday as a vegan, I give it a lot of "tough" foods, but Im very satisfied, although I wish the bowl was not plastic. If somebody could come up with that, in addition, to the power of this machine, I would give ten stars out of five! I've made butters, doughs, grated veggies, pancakes, purees, and much more. Great buy!
Summary: I purchased this for a friend of mine, a dedicated chef whose entire culinary efforts revolve around her food processor. Her ancient Cuisinart had bitten the dust, and she was devastated. I read the reviews of many food processors, and this one was in my price range and seemed to be a good replacement. I sent it as a surprise and waited with bated breath to see what she thought. She LOVES it. This is a serious cook.
Summary: If you need a machine with all the bells and whistles than don't buy this processor. If your looking for a machine that is simple to operate and easy to clean for occasional use in the kitchen that won't break the bank, than this is your machine.
