Summary: I bought this a few years ago but only recently started using it- and of course it is past warranty. I hate it. It's not comfortable to use. You have to manhandle the bowl off- and after only a few uses the blade has worn at it's connection so that it won't consistently turn. The bowl leaks at the seam. I had a fancy Cuisinart and a super cheap Hamilton Beach and both worked far better than this one. Such a shame that when I bought it there were good reviews for it.
Summary: Do not buy this product. I called for a replacement bowl and lid and could not be helped whatsoever. I do not have a receipt as it was a gift one year ago. When they transferred me to the parts department, I could not even order the parts as they did not have them available. Back to customer service who answered my question of "What would you do if you were me?" She said "throw it out and buy a new one"!!! Could you imagine!!! I will... but it WILL NOT be a HAIER.
Summary: This is a great food processor. I recieved it as a gift, having never heard of the name, and am very impressed by not only its performance but how quiet it is. Easy to operate and take apart..I had origionally been looking at another name brand, but am very satisfied with this one. Its reasonably priced too!
Summary: I bought this processor to replace my Hamilton Beach (a cheap, small sized $39 model I've had for a few years). My H.B. works fine, but I cracked the bowl and thought this would be a nice upgrade. I was wrong! The motor on this machine is not strong enough to process basic items. It was fine for salsa making. However, when I tried to make hummus the blade continues to pop off during processing.
Summary: I bought this food processor based on the price and have been extremely impressed with the overall quality, noise level and ease of operation. I consider myself a weekend chef and would reccommend this to friends.
