I bought this mini food-processor for my 70-year old mom. After years of cutting onions and garlic cloves by hand, I decided to buy my mom a simple food processor for her to use on a daily basis. She was skeptical at first, but after I opened the box and set it up for her on the counter she thinks the world of this food processor. She finds it simple to operate and even easier to clean. I bought this mini food processor to compliment the Black and Decker 10 cup food processor that I already have. It is for small jobs like cutting onions or chopping nuts. It is a little bit more pricey, but I am surprised at how powerful it is compared to its size. Another strength is that it is small enough to fit on the counter or inside the cabinet when it is not in use. It is another quality product from Cuisinart. Read more

this product is great to just throw whatever in (garlic, ginger, etc.) and have it chopped and grinded in seconds. you have to hold down the buttons based on your desired chop/grind. i had difficulties opening the actual food processor, but it may just be me. thus far it seems effective and easy to use. easy to clean as well. You know the whole Goldi Locks scenario -- too small, too big and just right? This is just right. I had a mini food processor that just barely enabled me to make Caesar salad dressing. This one helps me make salsa and hummus. (Mmm, hummus.) Not only does it work, but it looks fancy. Fan-cy. And with a name like Cuisinart, you know it's gotta be good stuff. The only complaint I have is the two speeds: on or off (basically). Read more
