Summary: I love this food processor! It's fantastic! It's saved me so much money on granola bars and nut butters! I can't say enough good things about it, so I'll start with: I made a whole bunch of delicious products, like my own Larabars (cup of dates, cup of nuts, and then whatever flavoring you want). Highly recommended.
Summary: That's the best 3 words I can think of to describe this little workhorse...'small, fast and efficient.' My first indication of this food processor's power came when I plugged it in and hit the 'on/off/pulse' switch. The Cuisinart jumped to one side, a good sign of the muscle this machine has. Don't be fooled by the size, the motor has a lot of torque. I decided to try one of the recipes in the owner's manual, Potatoes Au Gratin (page 19) using the slicing disc.
Summary: This is a perfect little food processor for one person. It has enough power to chop through just about anything, but be careful when adding lots of hard, coarse food at once as the blade may jump from time to time. If you remember to feed the food in at a gradual speed while it's whirring you shouldn't have any issue at all. There are several handy pieces that it includes which is helpful, though the slicing disc is more along the lines of a pulverizing disc.
Summary: I have a super size food processor that is not always practical and this little 3 cup is just right. If I want to slice or shred a larger quantity of veggies (like cabbage for slaw for instance) the unlimited chute attachment is great! and a pleasant surprise I wasn't even aware was going to be included. It works great for chopping onions or similar things. It recommends the pulse option for this, and that's the way I use it.
Cuisinart suits my cuisine - great price and just the right size.

Summary: I finally decided to get a small food processor and I am a big fan of Cuisinart. This model is just what I wanted and the price on Ebay was great. I haven't used all of its features yet, but am looking forward to integrating it into my kithcen adventures. I think the best feature is the chute attachment for continuous slicing/shredding into a bowl placed under the chute. Clean up is a breeze - a quick rinse and done. I would hightly recommend this model.
Summary: This is NOT a 'mini-prep', which Cuisinart also makes. This IS a full -service Cuisinart food processor, only small. I own or have owned both Cuisinart mini-preps: the 3 cup and the 4 cup. They don't come close. This mini Cuisinart is a powerhouse and a great little workhorse. It has the same controls as a classic Cuisinart: on, off and pulse. It has the same type of feed tube, blade, etc.
Summary: I just grated up 3 blocks of cheese today with my fantastic new food processor! Awesome :) Since I live on my own, this is the perfect size for my needs. I love that it comes with slicing and grating attachments, as well as a continuous feed chute. Pre-grated cheese actually has some carbs in it, and since I'm on a low-carb diet, I prefer to shred my own cheese and this machine makes that incredibly simple.
