Cuisinart suits my cuisine - great price and just the right size.
10 March 2013
Summary: I finally decided to get a small food processor and I am a big fan of Cuisinart. This model is just what I wanted and the price on Ebay was great. I haven't used all of its features yet, but am looking forward to integrating it into my kithcen adventures. I think the best feature is the chute attachment for continuous slicing/shredding into a bowl placed under the chute. Clean up is a breeze - a quick rinse and done. I would hightly recommend this model.
Summary: Extremely powerful food processor for its size. Perfect for smaller kitchens. It does exactly what I need. When wanting to do large batches of grated cheese or sliced veges, the shoot adapter directs the cheese/veges into a large bowl of your choice. I can't say enough positive things about this great food processor.
Summary: This is a great medium size machine. Bigger than my miniprep but smaller and much more light weight than my full size Cuisinart. Just the perfect size for a single or couple. With the additional shute for slicing and grating, you can just keep on working until you are done.....No complaints with this machine. Bought it used at an excellent price.
Cuisinaut Food processor-Over priced piece of junk
7 February 2012
Summary: This food processor is the biggest piece of crap i have ever bought. When you use it for dicing it waste a lot of food by not dicing it all.Contacted Cuisinaut about it and they could care less,Guess i am stuck with this over priced piece of junk.Sorry but i am just telling you like it is,JUNK
Summary: We had a large DLC-14 for over 15 years, but with just two of us, it was often not worth the trouble to lug it out, do a small job, and then wash all the intricate parts. The DFP-3 is just right for small batches, easier to disassemble, easier to clean, and it has more attachments to do more things than just grind and shred. Well worth the price--well worth twice the price.
