Summary: All I have to say is that I LOVE this machine! After researching many food processors and reading many reviews, I went ahead purchased this to replace my dead Kitchen Aide 7 cup processor. It's better than sliced bread (which by the way it can do)! it is extremely easy to get going, which is contrary to some reviews on this machine. I wonder if they just got a lemon. It starts right up without much futzing with it at all.
Excerpt: I got this as a gift about 5 years ago, and Iove it. It is a vey powerful and effective machine. The only issue I really have with it is cleaning the blades. I highly suggest that put the blades in the dishwasher instead of hand washing them. They are very hard to clean after you use them, especially when you are grating cheese in the machine. Other than that, the machine works great, even after 5 years of use out of it.
Excerpt: Let me just start off with, I absolutely adore my Cuisinart 14-cup food processor. I love how versatile it is. I can make hummus, dips, even homemade peanut butter! I use this machine almost every day to create something new for my family to enjoy. I recommend this for anyone who is in search of a reliable food processor that will do the job right every single time.
Summary: We bought this machine about a year ago. Right away, one of the tabs on the lid broke. It still worked, so we continued to use it. A few months later, the other tab worked, and the bowl broke as well. With pieces of plastic all over our kitchen, we threw both pieces away. When we called customer service, we were told it was still under warranty and cheerfully began the process for replacement. Then they told us we needed to send back the broken pieces.
Defective/dangerous blade - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT

Summary: I have a lot of Cuisinart products, and most are great. But this is a real nightmare. I bought it less than 2 years ago to the tune of $200 and now I'll probably just end up throwing it away. As other reviewers have pointed out, the chopping blade has a flawed design. A piece of metal on the bottom will eventually break off. And from fairly light use -- I have used this blade maybe twice a month since Sept 2012.
Excerpt: Whenever I can, I try to cook healthy, and it seems that every type of healthy recipe requires you to use a food processor. Over the years, I have used a few different food processors, and one that I really liked was the Cuisinart Custom Fourteen Cup Food Processor. This does a great job of cutting up pretty much any food I have put in it. The blades are really sharp, so they pretty much cut through anything.
Summary: There is a reason why America's Test Kitchen rated this the number 1 food procesor....because it is great! If you take notice...this processor is used by many many cooking shows as well (The Chew, ATK, Cooks Country....etc etc ) Reasonable price. Easy to clean. Keep it on your counter and ready to go!
Excerpt: This food processor is great for all types of foods and dishes. It's easy to put together, use, and clean. From dicing, slicing, pureeing, and chopping, it works for every meal out there. I've had it for over 13 years and I never run out of things to use it for.
Excerpt: I have been so pleased with this purchase! Granted, it's a good chunk of change, so I did my research before I bought anything. It is remarkably quiet, which is a huge plus since I have little children. It's also very fast, cutting an onion in a couple of seconds. I have yet to use the grater for cheese (I've only used it for zucchini), but I'm excited to try it.
