Two failed bowls - and we've owned it less than two months.

glasdriver, Amazon
17 November 2015
  • Summary: We had high hopes for this food processor, to replace a 30 year old Cuisinart. When it functions, the processor is incredible; crisp, clean cuts, whether slicing or shredding. Fantastic peanut butter also. The problem is with the bowl.

This is quite possibly the best kitchen appliance I have ever purchased.

runtymom, Amazon
22 September 2015
  • Summary: I wasn't sure I needed a food processor as I have a Vitamix... But, having a fairly large garden and doing a lot of canning, freezing, baking, etc. I found I was spending way more time slicing and prepping food than I probably should.

This is by far the best food processor I have ever had

Spachef, Amazon
5 July 2015
  • Summary: This is by far the best food processor I have ever had, and I have had a few! It far surpasses the Cusinart Elite that I had which died after a couple of years. It is well made, the accessories are in a plastic box and well labeled. I made gazpacho and it processed the veges in no time.

Great Machine -- while it lasts!

C. Dowling, Amazon
1 May 2015
  • Summary: This is a great machine, but Breville customer service is horrible. My work bowl fell off my counter onto my wood floor and cracked. I tried to order a new work bowl on the website but found they are unavailable.

Really cuts down prep time, making a "real food" lifestyle more manageable.

Laura, Amazon
5 April 2015
  • Summary: I've had this for about 3 months and I've used it almost daily. To name a few things I've made coleslaw, sauerkraut, shredded cauliflower (for cauli rice), zucchini, cheese, sliced mushrooms, apples, cucumber, made butternut fries, and puréed many things including almond butter.

Great heavy duty food processor - and great customer service!

Amazon Customer, Amazon
4 March 2015
  • Summary: This is a great heavy-duty food processor. It handles everything and hasn't disappointed us in its ability to grind, chop and puree everything from potatoes to nuts. Recently I broke the lid to the machine, my own fault, by dropping it on a hard surface.

  • Excerpt: Work's excellent. Very good investment. I have used it everyday since I got it. I would buy it again. Only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.
  • Pros: Easy To Use

Why did I wait so long!

whippetsimba, bedbathandbeyond.com
5 January 2015
  • Summary: This Breville Sous Chef is a work horse! I purchased it mainly for the sweet potato fry disk which by the way is soooo amazing! As soon as I opened the box I was in love. This is an amazing machine. I have used every blade and disc that comes with the food processor and have been very impressed.

User Review

  • Summary: An excellent tool. It does everything. The French fry cutter worked wonderfully and the adjustable slicing blade reduced the amount of time required to prepare the cabbage for kraut to minutes.

sous Chef

Blending13, bedbathandbeyond.com
22 December 2014
  • Summary: This is a wonderful food processor. I have had the Cuisinart for years and decided to try this as the Cuisinart was very difficult to attach the cover which is necessary for the machine to work properly. My new Sous Chef processor is so easy to operate and it does a great job in a matter of seconds.
