Summary: This blender made my lovely vintage 1955 Deco Waring unnecessary. But it belonged to my sainted step-mother, so I will probably always keep it. My mother gave me my first one of these about 12 or 14 years ago. She raved on and on about hers. I didn’t use it for a year, but then – Katie, bar the door. Here she comes with that hand-blender.
Summary: I use this set a lot because it is so versatile. I use it to blend cooked vegetables in a casserole, so that my over fussy family can enjoy them without exactly knowing what they are and have more of the 'gravy' to dip fresh bread into. I use it to whisk eggs for omelette or scrambled egg suppers. I make normal and scotch panackes with it and chop up onions etc. Having 2 speeds is great when blending flour into sauces etc too. I don't think I could do without it now!
Excerpt: I'd like to sit here and tell you all about my picky children who won't eat vegetables or lumpy things and that poor me has to use this hand blender to chop it all up and hide it in the food but sadly it's me that is stupidly picky! I spent many of my childhood years being super weird about food and if certain types of food were too lumpy or not to my liking I wouldn't be able to eat any of the dish.
Summary: this blender does just what it says, and the attachments (whisk and herb chopper) work really well, especially the herb chopper. I didn't know that these attachments were part of the deal, so they are a splendid surprise. haven't had it long, but it does all I want- very glad I waited so long to replace my old simple blender.
Summary: I bought one of these for myself and found it absolutely super. Whisking, chopping, liquidising...everything to hand and easy to wash. Takes up little room and yet is a big plus in the kitchen. I have bought two more for presents and they have been equally successful. Buy with confidence.
Summary: I bought this the other day when it was under £20, and its great! I always thought that hand blenders were lightweight but I was wrong. This baby has a 400 watt motor and is Fasssst! I noticed that in the other reviews that it was mentioned that the whisk is too fast and it causes splashes..the first time i used it i nearly ended up covered head to foot in cream, but you know what?,it was my fault.
Summary: I was looking for a smoothie maker and was considering getting one of the specialised large countertop smoothie makers, but instead opted for this hand whisk on the basis that it would be more useful for doing things other than drinks. Pleased to say I wasn't dissapointed. It's small enough that you can store it in a draw and bring it out when required, snap on the whisk head and after you've finished the head goes in the sink and the whisk goes back in the draw.
Summary: Mum is tired of whisking egg by hand, so I bought this for her as x'mas gift : ) For less then 20 pounds you get a lot: a blender, a whisk, a chopping and a beaker -GOOD VALUE. I will say this blender has a very good design, it is light and comfortable to use. Hoever, the two speed setting is not enough. Even the 'slow' (or normal) setting is too fast for whisking or making a drink. I get splash on my clothes for a few times - just be careful!!
Summary: Bought is as a gift for mum - she wants to whisk eggs for baking but really tired of whipping it by hand, so I bought this one. A good little blender with whisk and chop, two speed and also came with a beaker. Very Good Value - all that for less then 20 pounds. The click-in/out system for interchangeable blender/whisk/chop is of very good design and easy to use. However not without flaw. The main drawback is the speed is too fast.
