I'm pretty sure if he had a choice between me and ...

Summary: This machine is so much greater than any other you can buy...especially if you are a bread/pasta maker. My Danish husband has been using a Kitchen-Aid for years, getting only two loaves out of it at a time. This doubled with the Bosch.
Summary: Like most others who posted, I love this machine. I've used the mixer for over a year. It's a real workhorse that handles 12cup pizza or bagel doughs without any apparent strain. The mixer is lightweight and easy to move around (as opposed to the heavy-duty KA mixers).
Summary: This is by far the best mixer I have ever had! I used to use my Kitchen Aid to mix bread dough, but it just wasn't tough enough to handle freshly ground whole wheat. The bowl also couldn't handle the amount of dough I wanted to make at one time. Enter the Bosch!
Summary: It's a solid machine sure to last many years. It's 800 watt motor and strong transmission make it ideal for stiff doughs like bagels and Brioche and its bowl is simply enormous... larger than the photos seem to suggest.
Summary: I was on a bread making binge, and needed to keep up with the demands of a rapidly growing family. I had heard that the Bosch was the Mecca of bread making. After a lot of debate, I kicked the KitchenAid stand mixer and dove into a Bosch.
One star earned for dough making ability, everything else is better in my Kitchenaid.

Summary: I regret getting this instead of the professional Kitchenaid. I bought this to accommodate large amounts of whole wheat bread dough, but also anticipated that I could use it for everything else that I normally do in my Kitchenaid.
Every who eats bread and cinnamon rolls should have one of these!

Summary: The ultimate bread making machine. I can't stand store bought bread anymore. My wife makes 4 to 5 loafs of fresh ground whole wheat bread with the Bosch every week and she does it all in one morning thanks to the Bosch!
