Great green light

DrDeer, opticsplanet.com

  • Summary: I really like this light, although it uses more expensive batteries, I guess that gives it more power. We will see how long they last!
  • Pros: small and compact, strong green light
  • Cons: uses harder to find lithium batteries

Streamlight Twin Task TL2

PaulWallKenn, opticsplanet.com
10 June 2010
  • Summary: Once again, Streamlight delivers, and does it with professionalism and style. If they'd give us the same light but with a tactical momentary switch in the tailcap as well, it'd be nearly perfect. As is, this is my everyday carry light, replacing one that was way more expensive.
  • Pros: LED/Incandescant dual, Compact, Good light output
  • Cons: No tailcap switch for tactical use, beam less center focused as I would prefer.

Streamlight twin-task flashlight

Archimedes, opticsplanet.com
28 December 2009
  • Summary: The 2 illumination levels are very useful-- most of the time the dimmer light is more than enough, and using the dimmer light makes the batteries last much longer. But the brighter light is there in the few instances where you need it.
  • Pros: 2 illumination levels
  • Cons: cost of batteries

Streamlight Twin Task 2L

Robert Brandenburg, opticsplanet.com
2 April 2009
  • Summary: A high quality product, well made. Puts out a lot of light for its compact size. One of the few dual power/dual mode (LED and Xenon) lights available: the best of both worlds (long running time and light output). A great buy for the price.
  • Pros: everything else
  • Cons: would prefer switch in tail cap

Twin-Task 2L

riversport, opticsplanet.com
4 July 2008
  • Summary: The switch has four clicks for a two mode light, 1-xenon on, then 2-led on then 3-xenon on again,. 4-then off. The third should turn the light off. The range is short in my opinion and spotty for both modes. It,s use is for close up..lighting.
  • Pros: compact
  • Cons: short range flood light
