Summary: I was in need for a new light for firefighting. I had other lights in the past that I had thought were great lights until on night on a fire that my buddy showed up with this light. The brightness of the light was amazing! It cut right through the smoke and was able to see. I like that it fits right in my chest pocket on my turnout jacket or I have the option to clip it to the jacket it self. Battery door is a little hard to open at first when placing batteries in.
Summary: I have been a full time paid firefighter for 15 years. Love their products. Just what I expected only BRIGHTER!!! I had owned a rechargeable one for years and replaced the battery a couple of times. This would appear to be much more economical. Excellent.
Summary: Am a local firefighter and just put it through its first fire, it lasted all night through being dropped in the mud, banged around, soaked and continued working after being rinsed off that next morning. Very strong and reliable light just have to make sure you attach it with a carabiner to hold it on better and makes for much easier removal if needed.
Summary: This flashlight blows all the others out of the water. I own several models and types of flashlights. I thought that my Maglight that I have owned for years was a good flashlight. It is. But this streamlight is in another class. The beam is concentrated and shoots way out and it will go on what seems like months before the batteries go dead. Love it!
Summary: Light is lightweight and bright (LEDs make a huge difference). Case is solid and battery door has a clamp so it will not open. I am a fireman and have used a "BIG ED" for years and decided to go with this a cheaper alternative when my light took it's last breath. Great product over all and I can't find any flaws. Not a big fan of rechargeable lights, which this is not (4 AA Bat), as their lifespan is usually dissappointing.
