  • Summary: Previous review is false information being based upon another light. As advertised, it does NOT say anywhere that the Olight "M20X" has the 5 min step down in brightness from 500 to 300 lumens. This is bull as I have this light and have tested it. IT DOES NOT! STEP DOWN 100% to 60% in brightness. In fact, it maintains its absolute critical brightness 2hrs on my test with shotty ultrafire batteries.

  • Summary: The M20SX is billed as an updated M20 R5, but the runtimes make it take a back seat to the earlier model. Yes, you get 500 lumens vice 320 lumens, but after five minutes the SX kicks into a 60 percent mode (which is 300 lumens)*. And the low runtime goes from 9 lumens for 150 hours to 10 lumens at 85 hours. Bottom line: Lower runtimes make the SX a more limited light. Visible difference between 320 lumens and 500 lumens is minor at best.

  • Summary: This is one of the best tactical lights on the market. The 320 lumens light goes for an astounding 4 hours, better, I think, than 500 lumens at 1.5 hours. My only criticism of Olights is that the side strobe switch should be glow in the dark. I have a difficult time finding it in total darkness, forcing me to program the strobe to my main rear switch. Oh, and I'd like to see an "olive" colored option.

  • Summary: This flashlight's claim to fame is that the M20S-X Warrior is an "upgrade"from the classic Olight M20S R5 Warrior. It features dual switches,world-class super bright Cree XM-L LED , improved circuit design, 50+% promotion in brightness than R5 version." Olight thinks that 500 lumens for 1.5 hours is an improvement over 320 lumens for four hours.
