Joby Gorillatorch Blade

BCCHardware
17 November 2010
  • Summary: The Joby Gorillatorch Blade uses a built-in Lithium-ion battery of an undisclosed mAh rating.  It doesn't appear to have near the life of the original Gorillatorch that used three 1.5v batteries stacked in parallel to deliver up to 8100mAh of juice to the LED emitter.  This gave the original a very long runtime, where the time on the Blade has been shortened to 6.5 Hours on low (65 Lumens) and a mere 2.5 hours on "boost" (130 Lumens).
