Summary: Initially it counted laps well for breast stroke and free style. For some odd reason it did not count laps for back stroke well until I changed my cadence at the beginning of each lap: after flip turn, I only kick for 2 seconds with my arms straight over my head.
Summary: I have both the Finis Swimsense and Pool Mate watches. Both are pretty lousy. Swimsense is the worse of the two, because it is very inaccurate at measuring strokes. Sometimes, when I made 20 strokes, that watch would only count 4 strokes. Where are the other 16 strokes???
Summary: After much debate as to whether to go with this or the Finis brand equivalent, I am pleased to say that this was definitely the right choice. The watch worked flawlessly. Shortly after opening it I went straight to the pool to give it a rigorous test run.
Summary: The watch works extremely well, takes the hassle out of remembering laps. Fairly complicated overall, so I only use it for basic functionality like counting laps, pausing for kick sets, etc. Absolutely love it!
Summary: The watch itself is very well made and works reasonably well. Almost completely accurate with the lap counting. The major drawback is the software that takes hours to configure. It's now a month from when I got the watch for Christmas and tonight I have finally got the software to install.
Summary: The Poolmate PRO is a fantastic simple to use and stylish bit of kit, it does exactly what it says on the box, enter your details then tell it the size pool you're in job done, one button operation keeps things simple while your training.
Summary: I purchased this product in order to save me the need to count laps (always tend to forget after about 3 laps) and to upload the data to my computer for following my own progress in swimming. The watch does exactly that but once in a while will drop a lap or two.
Summary: Went today for my 1st swim with the watch. Setup couldn't be simpler. It delivers what it promises, and best of all, I enjoyed the 3 km I did. I could fully concentrate on the swimming not on the lap counting.
Summary: At last a watch that helps with the tedium of my daily swim. It counts laps perfectly That's what thousands of us do every morning, we don't do sets or sprints we just swim up and down, up and down.
Summary: took a bit of time to get used to , initially as it was not counting the laps accurately, found through switching arms and gliding for longer at the beginning of each lap fixed this and gave me 100% accuracy.
