Heart Rate Monitor
1 February 2012
Summary: This is a very hi-tech item and very well made....bought it for my Finance who is a runner. She loves it. It does alot more than you think and thats in the reviews. This is an item for fitness people totally! Will not regret a heart rate monitor like this for anyone.
Summary: Please note that the pink (rather obvious) AND the blue (counterintuitive) are the WOMEN's version of the M4 which isn't stated on the product page on Amazon nor on the manufacturer's website. These will not fit most men and the band is rather narrow and feminine even if it did fit.
Summary: I got this as a motivational item for my fiancee since we just started going to the gym. I had previously purchased a Sigma and the difference between the two for is astounding. The display on the Suunto is large and the menu layout is easy to navigate.
Summary: Excellent heart rate monitor. When in the exercise mode it does not display the time of day. It displays heart rate and time of exercise with no std clock. Having to wet the strap sensors is weired but if you dont follow the instructions it wont find your HR.
Summary: It does have an alarm despite the claims of one of the other reviews but there are many functions missing for a watch of this price. The menu is clunky, no reset button, no audio zone alarm (the only function I am really bothered about).
Summary: Great watch...I got a watch from Walmart originally and it didnt work at all...this watch has recommendation and goals...and works great I love it...it helps u to put ur workout into perspective and makes u work harder....
Summary: This is a great watch, easy to use, fits well...looks great and syncs easily using the HR Belt and Movestick. The only thing I don't like is the fact that it will NOT work with any of the pods. Other than that its a great watch for training or just being active.
Summary: I thought I did my homework but that's the issue when purchasing on-line. The M4 is ok for an entry level HR monitor, if that's what you are looking for. The issue it has several flaws...: looks cheap and the glass they used looks very thin and could break if you are not super careful.
Summary: I love the training features of this watch. Operation is simple and flawless. The quality and finish are great. Having the watch set the schedule and expectations for each exercise session is really working for me, and over the three months I have been using it, it has moved me up to much harder...
