Summary: The item seemed to be working well the first few weeks, didn't use enough to see results but I was hopeful that in time I would. The item stopped working within the second month of owning the product, I had used it at most 14 times, and that's stretching it. Initially, it would turn on then turn off within 2 minutes, until it completely stopped turning on.
Summary: After using the product for a few times, it stopped working. I wrote to the customer service but got a evasive answer and was unable to get a replacement although it was almost new and had just been bought a few months before
Summary: Before I bought this item, I kept seeing people complain that the pads wore out so quickly. I saw some people that said that they drenched the pads in rubbing alcohol to make them last longer. Others online recommended using window cleaner after each use. And still others said to use water based lubricant.
Summary: It seems to work but once I started using it I had an upset stomach. Not sure if it's linked? Time will tell , I will keep you posted. Has anyone else experienced upset stomach or stomach issues?
Summary: Everyone...the price tag for slendertone at amazon is waaay overpriced. you can purchase them much cheaper off ebay (about 30$). I would rate this product an 'A'. For the slendertone to be effective - you must also workout. It's a good aid for workout; not a substitute. Pros - easy to use, easy to hide under shirt(while at gym), i can multi-task around the house while wearing it, i don't have to devote time to countless ab workouts, intensity levels are great (1-99).
Summary: I bought this item from the Slendertone website... yes, I spent $150 and when I received the box in the mail (and saw the "as seen on TV" logo on the box), I got disgusted and thinking I was swindled... so stupidly, I did not open the box for about 4 months... oh well. HOWEVER two weeks ago I did open the box and gave it a try... WOW... I am in decent shape (10 pounds overweight) but I could not handle more than 60% of the electrical power...
Summary: This belt is unable to withstand the five day a week regiment that's recommended in its manual. I've used it for a month as recommended and it shut down on me. The only thing that I'm able to generate is an Error display when the unit is activated.
Summary: I was up late a few months ago and an information commercial pushing a product similar to Slendertone's caught my eye. I did a little research and decided to buy the Slendertone product instead of the one advertised as it seemed better quality and service. I have had no regrets. I bought the Slendertone for the abs and about two weeks later I bought the one for the arms. Be very clear that neither the ab nor the arm thing made me lose weight.
Summary: I had back pain when after prolonged sitting due my weakened abs. I did crunches again and my back pain started to go away. Then I bought this ab belt and used it for every night or two (without crunches), and after 1.5 weeks, my back pain was gone. It works (though it doesn't do much to get rid of belly fat). I think you have to use it at a level that is slightly uncomfortable in that you feel parts of your abs contract.
