Summary: Warning: Don't let your son or daughter skid with this scooter. The back tire is made of solid rubber. In the course of 1 day, my 9 year old son decided skidding is cool. After 10 or so good skids, the rear tire developed a nice flat spot on it.
Summary: I got this for my son and he rode it non-stop for 2 days before it broke. The motor would not engage, so I called Razor and they sent me a replacement part. After a week of waiting and 2 hours on the phone with tech support, I installed a complete new electrical system.
Summary: Bought this for our sons 7th birthday. Fantastic scooter, both he & his sister have used it lots and all their friends have been very envious! Would recommend this scooter, yes it's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for!
Summary: My 8 year old and 10 year old love the scooter and like riding on it every day. The battery charge so far is lasting over an hour, including stop and starts. The plastic chain guard broke the second week because when the kids do a right turn it scrapes the ground.
Summary: Ordered this for my 9 year old daughter, she loves it, as does her 11 year old brother. The scooter arrived promptly and was simple to assemble, it had enough charge to be used immediately, which was a bonus for an impatient 9 year old!
Summary: Gave this to my daughter for Christmas and she went nuts....luckily the weather has been good enough for her to try it in January (no snow). It was ready to go out of the box with a short charge. Once she got used to the throttle concept and the change in speed, she was all set to go.
