Works great with Nike+

Brian's Reviews, amazon.com
4 January 2012
  • Summary: I have an iPod Nano 5th Gen with Nike+ Sport Kit. I liked it but I had to keep a separate polar watch for monitoring my heart rate. I finally decided to try this and I am glad that I did. It is great to be able to track distance and heart rate at the same time. The only downside is that there is quite a bit of confusion about compatibility because some of the newer iPods support the pedometer functionality internally and then require the Nike+ sport kit to add the polar...

Works with Nike GPS Sportwatch

David, amazon.com
25 December 2011
  • Summary: I don't understand the negative ratings because this does not work with all Apple devices. It is 5 stars because it does what it is advertised to do. Just because it doesn't work with an iPhone 4 does not mean it is a 1 star product. The buyer should get 1 star for not making sure they have a compatible device. I have a Nike GPS sport watch and it hooked up in 2 seconds when I selected "new sensor." I took it out for a run and it worked seamlessly.

Works perfectly with iPod nano 6G and Nike+ kit

ftaok, amazon.com
12 December 2011
  • Summary: I got this to use with my iPod nano 6G (FW 1.2) and the Nike+ sports kit. I've been nursing a leg injury that prevents me from running/jogging, so I wanted something to record workouts on an elliptical machine (our gym doesn't have the Nike+iPod machines). The HR strap pairs easily with the Nike+ receiver. Once you start a HR workout, you're presented with a bunch of excercise types.

LOVE IT

Blake, amazon.com
30 November 2011
  • Summary: My Nike+ Polar Wearlink Heart Rate Monitor was the greatest investment for my personal fitness goals. I love this HRM. The only compliant I have is that it won't sync with the iPhone. In order to use the HRM I had to purchase the Sport Watch at an additional $60. I don't use this with the shoe sensor because I don't do a lot of running and I found that for my fitness classes (zumba and body pump) that my calories would be off if the watch was syncing to both the HRM and...

  • Summary: From all the good reviews posted here it seems that I wound up with a poor battery on the strap ordered. After a few uses now the strap does not work -when it does is very poorly. Not happy.

  • Summary: It just works. Every time. I couldn't be happier with it. I love that it sync with my Nike+ data. If you have a nano or a touch and you want heart rate, this is the way to go.

It only works with the iPod nanao :(

Rodrigo Robles Dãaz Leãn "El Oaks", amazon.com
24 October 2011
  • Summary: I bought this strap planning on using it with the Nike+ and my iPod Touch, only to find out that it is only compatible with the Nano. I am sure the strap will work perfectly as most polar products do, but the pacaging is misguiding.

Awesome Product

JonnyV, amazon.com
22 October 2011
  • Summary: Probably the best thing I have purchased in the past year. Super easy to setup and connect with my sportsband. So nice to be able to see your heartrate when running and then to see all the new graphs online with Nike+. A must buy for anybody that uses the Nike Sportsband+ or uses it with the iPod. It is also really cool to hear what your heartrate is.
