Nice but Pricey

  • Summary: It's ok, but not great! I will be looking at others unless Nike does some major upgrades.
  • Pros: Stylish and modern
  • Cons: Short battery life! You have to charge it every night or it will die on you!

Not bad, until it breaks.

EthanEarthworm, CNET
3 February 2014
  • Summary: I got this my FuelBand SE just after Christmas and I loved it for a couple weeks. In my fourth week using this, the outer casting tore (playing basketball) causing the display to be blurry, and it is no longer waterproof. I contacted Nike with this problem and they were very friendly as they explained how unfortunate this was and encouraging me to buy a new one. Bottom line is.. I would not buy it if you would like to track any activity that has any contact.
  • Pros: The display is attractive. It links well to iPhone. It looks and feels good on your wrist.
  • Cons: Breaks very easily. 1 year warranty covers nothing. Brushing your teeth gets you the same fuel points as running 2 miles.

  • Pros: Works great and very comfortable to wear. Also has great battery life.
  • Cons: The color is mostly on the inside of the band. Needs more color variety on the outside of the band

  • Summary: The points with the fuelband Se and Bluetooth 4.0 does not kill my battery which is a plus a must have for fitness buffs
  • Pros: When you set a goal and complete the goal it congratulates with big bright letters of GOAL and will let you know if you exceeded your goal or not and then it challenges you to go above your previous goal.
  • Cons: it's kind of limited

Buy the Fitbit Force instead...

ryorklive, CNET
18 November 2013
  • Summary: I own the Fitbit Force. This Nike unit doesn't stack up to the Force. The Force tracks your steps, miles walked/run, calories burned, etc. It also tracks your sleep and determines restlessness and number of times you awoke. It has an alarm and a nice LCD display that doesn't look like a huge bulletin board scrolling across your wrist.
  • Pros: It's uuuuugly.
  • Cons: No Android support... really? 70% of the smartphone market is Android., No sleep monitor., It's ugly.

Stay away from this product.

  • Summary: I've had two of these bands now, the first broke due to a small impact directly to the button and the second won't charge. Admittedly apple were great in replacing the broken wrist band, but I was disappointed with the product. My advice would be to go for another product which are cheaper and water proof.

Lost 10lb in 30 days - JUST DO IT

Elliot R, Apple
15 February 2014
  • Summary: The Nike Fuelband SE is amazing I have lost 10lbs in 30 days simply by setting a daily goal of 3000 Nike Fuel. I sit at my desk all day and it reminds me that I must exercise daily. All I need to do is go for a fast walk until I hit my goal. My son has one now and it had made him very active as he loves hitting all the goals and rewards that Nike provide, not to mention the thought of beating his dad every day. A life changer, so BUY ONE.....Just Do It!

Does exactly what it says on the tin...

Phil H, Apple
2 January 2014
  • Summary: I received my Nike Fuel Band SE as a gift and after initially having the wrong size exchanged it for a small. It is recommended that you go for a smaller size as included in the box are adjusting links to make the band bigger. The fuel band does exactly what it advertises. It makes you more aware of how much physical activity you are doing per day and then compares this with previous days. It will count calories and work out how many steps you have taken.

Love it

Andy G, Apple
11 December 2013
  • Summary: I had the Jawbone Up until it died after 6 months. Plus, i'd stopped using it for over 2 months as it wasn't really helping be more active. The Fuelband is great. It offers immediate feedback via it's screen and syncs effortlessly with the iPhone. It's just great. It real is helping me be more active.
