Summary: I bought this mat over a year ago and there is still little to no traction. My hands and feet slip all the time and I could see an injury happening because of it. I've never had this problem before and do not recommend this mat.
Summary: Great mat! I'm just getting into practicing yoga but I really like the thickness of this one! Its not too thick but just enough for some added comfort! Love the material and didn't have an issue with an odor after opening, wiping down, and airing out. Thanks for such a great product!
Summary: I recently started doing Pilates at home via The Gym Box on our Roku. I was doing my workouts on our carpeted floor and noticed that it was hurting my butt and hips. I wanted an inexpensive but thick mat that would provide the extra cushion that I needed. I received this mat (very quickly) and it is perfect! I love how thick it is and my hands/feet don't slip on it at all. I got myself the Dark Purple color and it is great!
Summary: The mat is quality and is thick. It is no more slippery than any of the others, including some of the more expensive mats that you could buy. Plus, they have fun colors and the mat doesn't stink like some have that I have bought elsewhere. I intend to buy several more so I can have more thickness on my hardwood floor when I do Pilates instead of yoga. 8-) Suggestion to those who tend to slip......just buy the yoga socks and gloves--the mat really isn't the problem!
Summary: This mat sucks. You get what you pay for I suppose and maybe this is just what you get for <20$. Either way, I Iwish I had not spent the 17-20$ on this mat. The size is great. It's comfortable to sit on. But it is atrocious for trying to hold any sort of standing pose. I followed the instructions by wiping it down with soap & water, and letting it dry for 2 days.
Summary: After 4 months of use, small holes were starting to appear and chunks of the mat were falling off. Now the chunks that are falling off are getting bigger. This mat is used on a clean wooden floor and I am barefoot for the 1 hour a day that I use it, then it gets rolled up and put in the closet. It gets wiped down w/ diluted Dr. Bronner's Soap now and then. Not a very durable mat for the light workout/stretching that I do.
i wanted to like it, but it ruined my yoga class first use

Summary: i REALLY wanted to like this mat; made in USA, good reviews for good price, loved the color choices. it was nice and thick, but also squishy and slippery. i wanted to upgrade to a thicker mat after my old mat wasn't supporting my knees enough, plus i was long overdue to "upgrade". last night was my first class with this new mat and i gave up on it half way through and used the bare floor, because i was squishing and sliding all over.
Summary: I have used this daily/weekly for about a year now and have never had a problem with it. I wipe it down semi-regularly and it has never retained any odor or degraded at all. It's also very comfortable.
