Summary: Large screen with good definition and easy to use makes this fishfinder a good value for the money. Mounting was a snap with the supplied hardware.. Garmin quality a plus for dependability. Buy the cover as well.
Summary: This is a great lower price depth/fish finder. It was very easy to install on my boat and to set up and start using and the screen is very easy to see even in bright sun. i mostly use it as a depth finder and water temperature indicator when i am operating the trolling motor up front in my bass boat, but it does show up fish on the screen. i would recomend the garmin echo 200 if you are looking for a lower priced fishfinder. Suites my needs just fine!
Summary: Works well. Good deal for the price. They should include a trouble shooting guide with the instructions. The power connectors did not push all the way in initially and I could not get the device out of display mode during my fishing trip. Customer service was very helpful when I called them after returning from my outing.
During limited use so far...great little unit for the price

Summary: Had been experiencing problems with other fish finders, each had their issues and had been disappointed in their performance and difficulty getting the performance I expected..Went through a process of researching each of the models including the garmin and felt the Garmin would fit my simple needs, at reasonable price. This was confirmed by my reading and evaluating consumer reviews on each of the unit.
Summary: This is my first fishfinder, and I didn't want to spend big money to find out if I was even going to enjoy using one. I mainly troll for trout and bass on lakes and rivers. Wow! is all i can say. This unit shows depth very accurately, water temp accurately, and shows fish arches and structure very well.
