Summary: This printer didn't last a year until the features started breaking down one by one. The software is incredibly bad. It takes for ever to print. The paper handling always jams. You have to feed multiple pages by hand one at a time. The wireless feature worked part time.
Summary: I've had this model printer for about 5 years. It's in a home office with extremely light use. I make a couple copies a month and then a few more during tax time. It worked fine for a couple of years and all the features worked, including being able to print wirelessly through my home network.
Summary: This printer / scanner/ fax machine worked great for a while. Suited all my needs. And then I got Comcast Cable .. and apparently this unit will not fax with Comcast Cable. HP was aware of the issue when I first brought it up over 4 years ago, but they had no solution.
Summary: I purchased this printer a few years ago from a local office store. Had no problems at first but after about a year while replacing the ink cartridge (something you have to do often, very often), the little spring mechanism that places tension on the cartridge to hold it in place became dislodged...
Summary: This is the most frustrating piece of hardware I've ever owned. It is forever breaking down. We have to stop what we are doing every few copies to reset the drivers, undo paper jams, and adjust the printer cartridges.
Summary: We moved the machine from one room to another. Since we reconnected it, we get an error message and it does not work at all. No one dropped it, no one changed a thing, just picked it up and moved it 15' and gently put it down.
Summary: Software stinks, phone help is in India and can't understand them (1 dollar a hour you get what you pay for)and useless help. buy the new model was the latest advice!Wireless is junk.Has broke twice ( thank god for my personel I.T. guy.
Summary: I used this printer in a small office for 3 years and it was adequate to the job. Apparently the board died because it will no longer boot up. I've spent the last week trying to get an address from HP to have this item recycled and NO LUCK.
Summary: This pile of junk quit printing complete pages shortly after going out of warranty. HP was totally clueless and useless in my several attempts to obtain information or even service, but offered to give me an 'upgrade' to a refurbished machine for a mere $270.
