Summary: This fax machine has been a great upgrade from the 2800 model we had in the office. The output "tray" is a much better design, it actually holds the incoming faxes in that spot, versus the incoming pages flying out of the machine. Overall, we're all very satisfied with this purchase.
Summary: This is my second brother laser fax machine; I replaced the first after 5+ years to get the 33.6 increased speed, not because it wore out (or broke). I have had it over 13 months and remain glad I upgraded; it's fast enough both in and out (just saw the review complaining about this when I came to Amazon to buy toner). Maybe commercial fax machines are faster but for my home based business its quite sufficient(1 to 50 page faxes are my norm).

Summary: I couldn't get clear enough resolution on the cheaper Brother Fax. This is important to me because I work with a lot of numbers. This 2920 Fax finally answers my need for clarity without even using the Fine Resolution button. It also was easy--intuitive--to set up and get started right away.
