My Book External Hard Drive

Vonda S., Newegg
16 November 2015
  • Summary: Thank you Newegg for being there with my computer needs. You have helped me multiple times and have saved me money every time. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
  • Pros: Arrived in a timely manner and boxed for safety. Easy to set up. All I had to do is plug it in and it was ready to go. Has been working great and I was desperate for more storage space. It should serve my needs for a long time.
  • Cons: I was nervous about purchasing a refurbished product, but everything has gone well so far. It is a little slow to access from my computer, but I suspect some of that is I am working on a laptop rather than a desk top computer.

Fantastic

Larry H., Newegg
27 April 2015
  • Summary: I ordered the WD Elements from Grassroots computer but it was sold out so they upgraded me to this one for the same price of $64.99. It came well packed in a non original box. It had the protective plastic on it that protects the shinny black plastic. It looked brand new NOT one mark on it.
  • Pros: Everything
  • Cons: NONE

I don't understand what people's problem was.

Wesley G Brodsky, Amazon
25 January 2015
  • Summary: I don't understand what people's problem was. When I first plugged it in, it came up like any other hard drive; and I could copy to, rename, and copy from whatever files I wanted. No password, no nuttin. Maybe they changed the software since these folks used it.
