HATE Western Digital

Summary: If I could give it 0 stars I would. I can not open any of my files and this was my only back-up. My computer crashed thanks to my 18 mo old and a cup of coffee I stupidly left next to it. I get a new computer and plug in my trusty WD passport only to find that I can't open any of my files.
Very loose when carrying all portable 2.5-inch drives

Summary: Since seller has not written the dimension of this case with its picture, it is bigger than the one is described on the product information. It becomes very loose to store all WD Portable Ultra drives and all Seagate portable Slim drives.
Summary: I wish there was a 0 star rating, but it looks like 1 star is the lowest rating I can give something. The plastic zipper was broke upon receipt. I was traveling when I ordered it and had to kept it as it was better than nothing. So, I do use it, but I have to hold it closed with large rubber bands.
Summary: After I received it,, I wondered why I got it. My Passport Ultra 1TB HD was meant as a backup for my pix/docs, etc. It's permanently installed and not meant as a removable or transportable device. Got it and don't know what to do with it. Don't get it if it is not meant to be transportable.
Summary: In general, I'd consider getting another one just like it, but this one went without warning and now I'm in that awful limbo of not having a back-up of the last 3 years of data and every picture I have of my 2.5 year old.
Pros: large space, fast data transfer, small design
Cons: Crashed in under a year without warning. Total failure, so my "back-up drive" is less useful than a picture of my computer on my desk. Very disappointed, expected more from WD
