Summary: The packaging and this product looks amazing. The speeds for 2.0 are good (I have no complaints, but if you want super fast speeds look for USB 3.0 drives). I don't have anything bad to say about this product, so this review isn't too helpful.
Summary: This is a great Hard Drive. The install was quiet easy and the instructions were perfect. Windows recognized the hard drive right away and after one reboot I was ready for format the drive and start using it.
Summary: This is the first large capacity external drive I've owned. My other drives have been usb thumb drives and a maximum 160gb WD passport. I needed the extra space and this fits the bill nicely. Like others I think the label idea is cool and that it stays visible when unplugged.

Summary: I helped my mother-in-law set up her 1 Terabyte unit today and found it to be a very good product. I recommend this to others. The software was very easy and automatically ran upon plugging it in to her Windows XP machine.
Summary: It was a nail biter to connect it. I had to partion my computer and I didn't know how to do it. And now I'm not sure how to retrieve my data. But I still fill better knowing I have a back up incase I have to retrieve anything. And I will figure out how to retrieve my data.
Summary: This is my second WD My Book Harddrive. I am very happy with the drive and with the software. The software upgrades are pushed from WD and are extremely easy to install. The software works great and I will purchase more drives as I need them. Thank you.
