Summary: I really wanted this to work out. I love the form and size of the flash drive. When I got it I unpacked it and tried it out. As expected it worked great. I kept it in my pocket (on my keys) since then. The other day I needed a flash drive so I pulled it out and… the computer will not recognize the device. I’ve tried it on three total computers (all PC) and none of them recognize the device.
Summary: This device is easy to use and is pretty cute! All I had to do was plug it in and the steps were available on the screen. I love how it backs up my mac automatically (setting can be disabled).
Summary: Hello, I lost 59 giga bytes. The hard drive file system switch to RAW system file, that no computer can open anymore. I tried many process to get my data back (testdisk, file recovery, MSDos prompt command, many forums, Linux backup, MacOS.....). Basically all my datas are lost. Verbatim customer support, after 17 mails and software procedure to recover my datas, stay unable to help me. Better you don't buy this item.
Summary: I want to make everyone who purchases data storage devices from Verbatim knows the experience I’ve had before the purchase a Verbatim product. I purchased a Verbatim “SuperSpeed USB 3.0 1TB” portable hard drive in November of 2012. The other day I was using it and when I plugged the USB cord into the hard drive, the inlet fell into the hard drive.
Summary: This was my first time using a Verbatim USB Flash Drive. I have only used SanDisk flash drives in the past. I do a lot of writing and I had a lot of documents to save, and I needed another usb flash drive. I didn't see any SanDisk that I wanted so I decided to try Verbatim. It's a really good product. It does just what I needed it to do.
Summary: this product was bought in early January 2014, it is now Feb. 24th and it is unreadable with no chance of getting my data back. Very precious pictures on it that will never be recovered, very upset over this and can't even get refund.
Summary: I have 500GB Store 'n'Go model -- about two years old. Verbatim offers a version that will work with either the PC or a Mac computer. You simply plug it into the machine that it is intended to be used on and the Nero software will "see" the operating system and offer to format the drive as needed. Once done, this decision is not reversible and Nero installs it's self on the either type of machine, and it is ready to go.
