It can be powered by my tablet, unlike USB 3.o external drives

Summary: Most people are getting newer USB 3.0 external hard drives, but my Asus T100 tablet cannot power those devices (I have two that I cannot currently use), so I was pleased to find an USB 2.0 external hard drive that is 1 TB. I am now able to use this with my Asus T100 tablet with no problems -- my tablet can power this drive without any issues. I like the design with the colorful accents, which give the device an extra bit of style.
Summary: This hard drive is very unstable. I have connected to dvd's, blurays, playstations, PC over 3 years and in every device it suddenly and randomy disconects. I have 2 friends with the same issue. I will never buy again a device from this brand.
Summary: This is a great little external hard drive. I like that it is military tested, luckily I haven't had to test that but it's nice to know in case of an accident, the drive will have a bit more protection. The software it comes with for backup isn't the great, but that seems to be the case for most software that comes with these external drives.
Summary: I bought this drive to hold my service information systems which were stored on multiple DVDs. Since the drive is used with a laptop mounted in a truck it is subject to vibration, heat and cold. After almost 2 years of daily use it is still working just fine.
Summary: I thought this external hard drive would be easy to use to back up important files I don't want to lose. I'm a "technically challenged" person, not an IT expert, so I wanted a user manual or user guide that told me everything I needed to know about using it and explained it in simple layman's terms.
