Excerpt: The devise has more levels of security than I wanted, and at times was difficult to use. Kept getting error messages stating, "don't have permission to save to this location." Using Transcend's online help screens, have not got it working. I hope.
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact, High Capacity, Portable, Quiet
Summary: Why am I giving this 3 stars, you ask? It's not because there's anything wrong with my portable hard drive. No, that's not it. It's perfect, actually. It's just...people say that all hard drives are destined to fail.

Summary: The Portable HDD is good but the cover should have been slide one instead of screw one. my old HDD drive did not well smoothly in it. 2mm more space should have been given for proper in-out.did not achieve the speed what they have mention as it took time for downloading the old data.
Good, Works, but bad ergonomics for the desired purpose

Summary: 1. Works, 2. Transcend - so assuming electronics must be reliable 3. Looks nice (3 Stars) Cons: 1. Need a screwdriver to open it up (not supplied) 2. No instructions (though lots of pamphlets and a useless quick start guide) 3.
Great product other than the short and flimsy cable.

Summary: Getting full USB 3.0 Speeds About 1112 MB/.s The casing supports SMART and temeprature reporting. The cable is only 10 inches. Sometimes touching the cable causes HDD to restart. I am worried this could cause crashes or data loss if not careful.
