Excerpt: It arrived Ok. I've tested it it was Ok (I didn't pay attention to "G-sense error rate" SMART value). So I ejected HDD from USB case and put inside my PC like usual internal sata3 disk. (I have this practice for a years with Seagate drives 2, 2,5, 3, 4 TB it's cheaper and always was Ok).
Excerpt: I bought these because they were the cheapest option for 5tb drives for me to use internally. Cases opened up pretty easily and the cases should be re-usable if you are careful when you open it. Just take care not to break too many of the clips and it will go back together.
Excerpt: I have nothing but good things to say about this Hard drive. Low cost, fast USB 3.0, reliable, and quiet. I am using it as an archival storage device for photography and video. I Highly recommend ordering from B&H Photo, they didn't charge postage. Their price was the lowest for this product. They are punctual and courteous.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy to use, High Capacity, Portable, Quiet
Excerpt: Backup of minutes books that were microfilmed by the State Archives folks - we had the hard drive shipped directly to them and they are converting the microfilming to digital. We will store the hard drive in a fire/water/explosion-proof safe so that there will ALWAYS be a way to go look at and read (PDF, no doubt!) these precious records.
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact, Easy To Set Up, Easy to use, High Capacity, Portable, Quiet
Excerpt: I couldn't be any happierwith my Seagate 3 terabyte external hard drive. it's absolutely no drag on my computer and has freed me up to do a lot more have a much better speed for my computer. I definitely give it 5 stars out of 5.
