Summary: Just plug and use--no messing with instructions. As with all the other portable hard drives I've used, this one doesn't do well going from Mac to PC and vice versa, and you end up having to reformat or clear everything out when you use this from one to the other. Quick and easy.
Summary: I love to use this when I am on the go. I put my movies and music and work files on it. I use it a lot on vacation and to store copies of documents. I like to take a lot of photos and need a place to store it. I like to have movies that the kids can wacth on the go.
Summary: The Seagate Slim USB Portable Hard Drive is a nice backup for your files. It's a light, very thin hard drive, and is formatted for Mac computers. While that's one of their selling points, I think the ultra portable-ness of this hard drive is actually a bigger draw.
Summary: This HD comes in sleek Mac-like packaging that can be used to store the hard drive. The hard drive is even slimmer than I expected, little thinner than pencil width, about the length and height of a passport. Comes with a short USB cord and the hard drive itself.
Summary: This is hooked up to our airport express and it is fast enough for our needs. It is also very thin, like VERY thin which is great for not taking up space on a shelf or in a bag, but I would be worried about it cracking in a bag full of other stuff.
Summary: The tech guy at our school recommended this drive for my personal laptop. That is one recommendation that I am happy to have followed! This has to be the easiest way ever to back up your computer. You literally plug in and wait for it to do the backup!
Summary: My favorite thing about this hard drive is that it is powered via USB, so you don't need any cord other than the built-in USB cable. The drive is a very nice, portable size. This is a nice way to backup files if you don't want the mess of an external drive that needs a separate power cord.
