Summary: My freeagent died after 6 months. I wanted to get my data off the drive and had to void my warranty by pulling it apart, thus making it ineligible for a refund. When I pulled it apart, I realised that the port that the mini USB cable plugs into had broken loose.
Summary: I was pretty disappointed that my FreeAgent Go died after seven months. I'm giving it 2 stars for the attractive design only. It was a gift, so I really have no way to return the product. The desktop dock didn't work from the beginning, which probably should have been a warning to me.
Summary: Drive looks great and when working is good. But for me 50% of the time the drive does not work. I have reformatted and all the other mandatory things, yet frequently the drive does not show up. The support for the product is minimal and judging by various forums many other people share my problems.
