Summary: I tried to install it like a normal hard drive but nothing happened, and I tried to download the internal hard drive software from samsung's website and it wont run on win 7 64 bit(lol). Drive might have totally failed, what will suck because I had a lot of stuff on it.
Summary: I've owned this for about a month, so my opinion may vary as durability may change this review. When it comes to hard drives, durability and performance are everything. As performance goes, the USB 2.0 interface is fast enough, but an ESATA option would be better.
Summary: Bought it in October 2009, died in May 2010. Was dependable until I realized it wasn't showing in my list of drives. Under warranty but if I send it in, I lose 1.5 TB of data. I have another Samsung Story drive from January, hope it lasts a little longer. May have to salvage the drive out of it.
Reviews of 2 TB Story Station, not 1 or 1.5 TB, wanted

Summary: None, not one, of the reviews that show on the page for the Samsung Story Satation 2 TB [Amazon's mispelling of 'Station,' not mine] are for the Story Station 2 TB external HDD as I type. All are for other sized HDD offering in this Samsung line.
Summary: Paid 64.20 and got the tax back just 2 month ago so why has it nearly doubled in price. I have several of these hard drives. Good Points, 1. Cheap ... when I bought it anyway. 2. Reliable and robust - been dropped a few times. 3. Quality look and feel. 4. Quiet operation. 5. Convenient size.
