Summary: This is a nice, simple and solid drive. It has a discreet design, is compact and lightweight. I use it a lot when I travel. It works perfectly and backward compatibility with USB 2.0 is nice when I have to use older computers.
Summary: Saw the Rikiki drive at a friend's place and thought it looked very nice. Bought this 1TB model not long ago and have been totally happy with the decision. It was easy to install and I loved the user manual that came with the drive. Finally so much of the installation process explained easily.
Summary: I bought one of these drives a couple of months ago and I love it. I use it to store all my photos, university assignments and work stuff. It's portable and light, but it feels very sturdy. Love the metal case and the tough brushed look. USB 3.0 speed is excellent, fast and easy to use.
Summary: I went to the Apple Store on 5th Ave looking for this item after seeing it on Amazon. I like to touch things before I buy them, of course. They did not have the drive on hand, so I went to TekServe on 23rd, bless their hearts, and they had one in stock, and on SALE! I snapped it up with the quickness and backed up my Macbook Pro, and all was saved. The drive is sexy, sturdy, quiet, and doesn't get hot.
Summary: I was looking for weeks to buy an external portable hdd without tones of pre-installed software and of course power supply free. This unit was the last one on the BEST BUY shelf , priced as $113. I was surprised , when I paid $102/incl tax/.However, easy plug&play detection on my Win 7 x64, quick 1-st installation/format, cold body after days of using it, fast transfer even via USB 2,0.
Summary: This hard drive has a great amount of space to put all my video projects onto. It has a fast speed and is used really well to transfer things from my computer to other computers. I am able to store a large amount of projects and different things on it.
