Best little drive

dbc, Amazon
12 January 2013
  • Summary: Really rugged construction from the Lacie rikiki, Mines going 2 years strong, never had a fault so far. The usb cable it comes with is mini in size so im often putting a bit of strain on this whilst using it with a pc or macbook but the connection is still strong.

Small, convenient, nice!

jorisbens, Amazon
15 May 2012
  • Summary: Very good portable hard disk, one of the smallest that can be found as far as I know. I've had two (because the first one got stolen) and they both worked as expected. Very nice styling, nice aluminium, that doesn't get too hot, even with heavy use. Best hard disk I've ever had!

ALL GOOD AND WORKING FINE WITH TIME MACHINE

Richb "Rich", Amazon
21 December 2011
  • Summary: Bought as a cheap solution to use with my iMac for time machine backups as I could not justify the £250-£350 or so for the Apple recommended time capsule. Plugged it in and reformatted to MAC OSX and setup time machine up in a few minutes.

Does the job.

Rogerkyde, Amazon
29 October 2010
  • Summary: Like other LaCie HDDs I've bought, it does the job. The almost-integral USB lead has pros and cons, but on balance is a good idea.

Would recommend as a backup drive

Thomas L., Amazon
29 October 2010
  • Summary: Lots of storage for the price, though prone to crashing after lots of use. Would recommend as a backup drive, to backup your files and then leave it alone.
